Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative based in Ludington, Michigan, supporting Zeeland Lumber & Supply’s truss and wall panel manufacturing plants and full-service building material yards. The role assists with new and existing customer sales, provides product support to outside sales representatives, and prepares quotes and product dimension information both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries about product selection, placing orders, pricing and quotations, handling complaints and coordinating deliveries and installations, initiating calls to generate sales, entering work orders and related paperwork, coordinating purchases and deliveries of special products, obtaining pricing specifications, managing project schedules with outside sales and jobsites, maintaining stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom, researching credits/returns, resolving back orders and billing issues, handling special orders and pricing, developing relationships with customers, and ensuring safety policies are followed. The position emphasizes inventory control, accurate data entry, and proactive customer service, with a focus on teamwork with internal and external stakeholders and completing assigned trainings.
