Job Summary
Assist customers with product questions, troubleshooting, sales, and order placement via phone, email, text, and chat. Ask consultative questions to uncover needs, recommend solutions, overcome objections, and cross-sell products to support overall pond goals. Follow up on leads and quotes through outbound calls, document conversations and tasks in CRM, and monitor sales metrics to drive improvement. Research technical product information and participate in ongoing training and demonstrations. This full-time, year-round role is based onsite in Armada, MI, with shifts from 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM (EST) Monday through Friday. Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus commissions, averaging $60,000 to $75,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of sales, consultative customer service, or related customer-facing experience
- High school diploma
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Candidates who receive a job offer will be required to successfully pass a drug/toxins test and background check
- Availability: full-time, year-round position
- Onsite location at 15425 Chets Way, Armada, MI 48005
- Team members begin onsite for the first year
- Shifts are typically 8 hours and fall between 9:45AM – 6:15PM (EST) Monday through Friday
- 2 Saturdays per month
- Saturday hours are 8:45AM – 4:15PM (EST) during the months of March through October
- We are closed on Saturday during the months of November through February
- Inside Sales Representative are scheduled on the phones throughout the entirety of their shift
- This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk, and looking at a computer screen for long periods of time
- Portions of the training require you to shadow other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds

- Ability and willingness to learn extensive technical product information
- Ability to listen, ask questions, and document detailed information while actively assisting a customer
- Confidence communicating with customers and recommending solutions
- Comfort handling a high volume of customer conversations throughout the day
- Ability to move quickly between tasks and multiple software systems while maintaining accuracy
- Basic understanding of mathematical calculations, conversions, and ratios
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using CRM, sales, order-management, or similar business systems preferred
- Technical or mechanical experience is a plus
- College degree preferred
