Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative for lighting and plumbing in a Dallas showroom, responsible for guiding product selections to homeowners, designers, builders, and remodelers using architect plans; manage orders, coordinate projects from quoting to delivery, and support project completion. Requires knowledge of lighting/plumbing products, extensive sales experience, ability to read architect plans, and comfort serving a high-end clientele. Interior design interest or training is strongly preferred, with familiarity in remodeling or new construction. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Some travel may be required and routine weekend attendance may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Extensive sales experience in lighting or plumbing products preferred
- Knowledge of Lighting and plumbing products
- Ability to read architect plans
- Skilled or educated in interior design strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the remodel or new construction industry
- Comfort catering to a high-end clientele
- Effective problem solving skills with calm handling of conflicts
- Successful relationship-building skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Previous Customer Service work experience is required
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize new software tools
