Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative serving as a primary link between customers, outside sales staff, product managers, truck drivers, and warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs for building materials are met while supporting Amerhart’s margins and sales objectives. Responsibilities include planning with the Inside Sales team to maintain current business and identify future sales leads; proactively communicating inventory and order information; calling customers on daily delivery routes to relay pricing, availability, and specials; using CRM and BI tools to identify opportunities and obstacles; clarifying Amerhart credit programs for customers; resolving pricing issues with Sales/Branch Manager and Product Manager; maintaining up-to-date customer quote files; supporting the company’s strategic plan; attending sales meetings and trainings; and demonstrating strong consultative sales, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years’ experience in customer service or sales.
