Job Summary
Understand client needs to recommend appropriate electrical products and provide pricing, quotes, and product information via phone and email. Enter, track, bill, and expedite direct and stock customer orders, backorders, and vendor purchase orders while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving targets and work with logistics to coordinate sales efforts and ensure seamless order fulfillment. Stay current on industry trends and participate in training to gain electrical product knowledge and application skills. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, with secondary or post-secondary coursework concentrated in sales/marketing, or equivalent on the job experience as determined by Echo Electric
- At least two (2) years of sales, electrical or distribution experience and/or product and application knowledge
- Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions/calculations
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven attentiveness to detail coupled with problem analysis and resolution skills
- Ability to sit and/or alternate between sitting and standing at will
- Ability to use a keyboard to enter text or data into a computer
- Ability to speak to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
- Clarity of vision ability of approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., use of computers.)
