Job Summary
Process customer orders, make sales calls, and establish relationships with customers while building territory approaches and monitoring resources. Work with different departments to execute account development plans, prioritizing concurrent demands to provide satisfactory service to all. Balance requests for assistance from internal and external customers regarding service issues, ensuring tasks are completed with speed and accuracy. This role drives revenue growth by identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction within Ryerson's legacy of industrial metal products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales and marketing, economics, or related fields
- 1-3 years of sales or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented, driven with a passion to excel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Metal industry is preferred
- SAP Experience is a plus
