Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative / Production Operator in Boise, ID combines high-energy customer interaction with operational support. You will handle order entry, assist customers with tools, hardware, and materials for projects, provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, manage paperwork including coding, costing, and pricing, coordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization, fill high pressure cylinders following established guidelines, maintain cylinder filling records, and ensure safety and compliance. The role emphasizes problem-solving, relationship-building, inventory and showroom upkeep, and collaboration with customers and team members to support branch growth and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Computer skills or some knowledge of computer order entry systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76-125 lbs., with the aid of material handling equipment
- Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
