Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and coordinate opportunities from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. Liaise with customers, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to confirm project requirements, review specifications for product selection, and track timelines while escalating risks. Maintain accurate information within ERP and CRM systems and support technical submittals. Manage multiple priorities and communicate proactively regarding order status and lead times. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager in the Ottawa - Nepean Office. Compensation is $65,000-$75,000 annually with profit sharing, health spending account, and RRSP plan. Requires post-secondary education in Business or Engineering Technology and two years of relevant sales or project coordination experience.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in inside sales, sales support, project coordination, or a related role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the HVAC, construction, mechanical, or building services industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), with experience using ERP and CRM systems
- NetSuite experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, engineers, and customers
- Experience preparing quotations, estimates, or supporting complex sales processes
- Ability to communicate in both English and French
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
