Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Conduct hands-on training in a manufacturing environment while developing deep product expertise in mechanical power transmission components and custom forgings. Provide technical support to customers by offering guidance on product selection, respond to inbound sales inquiries regarding pricing and order status, and proactively reach out to existing clients via phone and email to generate new opportunities. Process orders and quotes for stock and custom-manufactured systems, collaborate with outside sales representatives on open territories, and analyze sales data to identify growth trends. Manage multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy from entry to fulfillment. Requires a bachelor's degree, mechanical aptitude, and 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong mechanical aptitude or technical inclination
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
- Experience within a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and on a computer
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
- Ability to report daily to the branch
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide high-quality service through clear and effective communication
- Ability to support customer inquiries and needs with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to ensure accuracy and attention to detail from order entry to fulfillment
- Ability to maintain efficiency and organization while managing multiple orders and quotes
- Ability to use data to understand market trends and find opportunities for business growth
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to build teamwork and cooperation across departments
- Ability to show strong skills in resolving issues and overcoming challenges
- Ability to consistently perform duties with responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail
