Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for positioning and selling Illumina products in the LATAM Emerging Markets, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to develop new accounts and grow existing ones. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish, a strong foundation in Genetics and Molecular Biology, and typically 2+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include making outbound contacts, conducting presentations, and collaborating effectively as part of a sales team to achieve revenue goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in English & Spanish
  • Typically 2+ years of experience in a Life Science laboratory, Sales role, or a related field with customer-facing experience
  • Strong Genetics and Molecular Biology foundation
  • Conducts presentations effectively, professionally and comfortably to customers/peers/management
  • Self-motivated to continue learning
  • Demonstrated desire to be an effective collaborator within a team selling environment
  • Strong desire to 'win' and build customer relationships
  • Willingness to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Desired Qualifications

  • Strategic sales skills with proven ability to develop and grow key accounts
  • Preferred knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing and Genotyping methods
