Job Summary
Write orders for customers, cross-sell aligned products, and answer inquiries via phone, email, and text. Oversee submittals, shipping, expediting, and billing while identifying and qualifying potential clients through cold calls, emails, and site visits. Partner with outside sales, project managers, and quotation specialists to ensure seamless order experiences and exceed monthly sales quotas at appropriate gross margins. Provide feedback on pricing, service, and product needs to management. This on-site Plymouth, MN role runs 6am to 3pm M-F, requiring a valid driver's license and 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- 2 years related sales experience
- 2 years in a customer service role
- Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Analytical thinking and sound decision-making skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business or tech school
- knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC components
- 2 years in a customer service role preferred
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred
- Computer experience with different order management systems
- Eclipse knowledge
