Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative will contribute to the increase of sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting telephone customers, walk-in customers, and outside sales in the selection and acquisition of needed products. Responsibilities include: assist counter sales; process inquiries via phone, fax, email, mail, or online; input customer orders, quotes, bids; purchase products; quote and sell supplier products; identify and close orders with potential customers; use catalogs for product pricing and availability; solve customer problems; increase sales through cross-selling, up-selling, and promotional items; handle complaints and returns; provide after-hours support; maintain product knowledge; understand competitor pricing; adhere to company ethics and hiring standards; deliver superior customer service; demonstrate effective listening and phone skills; be a team player with professional demeanor; perform well in a fast-paced environment; follow written instructions and procedures; understand inventory and warehousing; ensure accuracy; possess technical product knowledge and selling techniques.
