Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative II at Thermo Fisher Scientific focuses on driving revenue by promoting CMD chromatography consumables and CAD NanoDrop instruments through digital channels and CRM-based engagement, building relationships across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical, and industrial markets, and executing strategic sales plans. Responsibilities include opportunity qualification and development, managing the sales process from generation to close, achieving/exceeding sales targets, maintaining accurate pipeline data, supporting NanoDrop adoption, and collaborating with Field Sales, Technical Support, Customer Service, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences or related fields, 2+ years of sales or lab research experience, strong communication and consultative selling skills, CRM proficiency (preferably Salesforce), and the ability to work independently and in a team, aligned with Thermo Fisher Scientific's 4I Values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related scientific disciplines
- 2+ years of sales and/or laboratory research experience; experience in life sciences, scientific instruments, or laboratory consumables is preferred
- Strong communication, customer engagement, and consultative selling skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
