Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory; manages outbound sales activity, supports Outside Sales partnerships, and executes strategic sales initiatives to maximize profitability. Develop and execute territory sales plans, conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers, identify customer needs through consultative questioning, provide pricing updates, collaborate with Outside Sales regarding orders and inquiries, communicate market trends and product demand, build long-term customer partnerships, develop targeted business plans for key products and strategic accounts, follow up on quotes and leads, optimize truck fill and order profitability, maintain records and prepare reports on sales activity, and contribute to overall profitability and growth objectives of the organization. Requires two to four years of related sales or customer service experience; high school diploma or equivalent required; experience in building materials or distribution environment preferred.
