Job Summary
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects to ensure repeat business while providing excellent customer service to all walk-in customers. Ensure order accuracy, delivery information accuracy, and secure payment, and maintain strong working relationships with lumberyard and manufacturing employees to better service customers. Stay up to date and well versed on all software and required technologies needed in the metal roofing/construction industry. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requires at least two years of related experience in the Construction/Metal Roofing Industry, above-average math skills, and the ability to lift 100 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods and use telephone/cell phone to communicate with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Construction and/ or Metal Roofing Industry
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales role or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Exceptional listening skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma
- Above average Math skills
- At least two years related experience in Construction/ Metal Roofing Industry
- Must be able to lift to 100 pounds at times
- Must be able to learn and/ or perform on all software required in Sale Department
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to use telephone/ cell phone to communicate with customers
