Job Summary
Respond to customer inquiries, close profitable sales orders, and process received orders by reviewing details and communicating delivery commitments. Sell products and services, offer add-ons and up-sells, and suggest alternatives when requested items are unavailable. Work with branch personnel to provide competitive quotations while executing sales efforts ethically. This role offers a $23.00-$28.00 hourly rate with sales commission. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with preferred sales experience. Crescent Electric Supply Company is a nationwide electrical supply distributor serving communities across 28 states.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and stoop
- Must be able to sit, talk, and hear
- Must use hands/fingers
- Must be able to lift and carry 1-20 lbs continuously
- Must be able to lift and carry 21-50 lbs frequently
- Must be able to lift and carry 51-100 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to use a buddy-lift or mechanical device for lifting
- Must pass pre-employment assessments
- Must pass Motor Vehicle Record review
- Must pass criminal background checks
- Must pass references check
- Must pass post-offer drug screen
