Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative for the Commercial Construction Overhead Door division in the Chicago, IL area. Focused on developing relationships with GC's, engineers, owners, developers and end users; performing take-offs from plans and interpreting specifications; obtaining supplier/subcontractor quotations; participating in plan and estimate reviews; preparing material and labor estimates and submitting quotes for bids; managing projects to completion; conducting site evaluations; providing customer service; prospecting for new customers and closing proposals; promoting the service department; completing assignments on time. Qualifications include 5+ years’ experience in direct sales and 5+ years’ experience in estimating/managing commercial door projects or similar, proficiency with manufacturer portals for estimates, strong computer/office software skills (Procore, CRM, MS Excel/Word), proven prospecting and territory development success, and ability to manage accounts/territory and meet sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in direct sales
- 5+ years’ experience in estimating and managing commercial door projects or similar project types
- Experience using manufacturer portals to create estimates
- Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (such as Procore, CRM’s, MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
- Proven success in prospecting and developing a territory
- Experience working closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives
- Ability to manage accounts and/or territory
- Proven track record demonstrating ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals
- A proven track record of prospecting for new business
