Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative is responsible for handling the majority of sales activity (about 90%) including cold calling, following up on leads, generating quotes, and coordinating delivery/status with internal teams, primarily in-person or via email with contractors and homeowners. Weekly cadence includes ~100 touches for new or returning customers, RFQ responses, and ensuring timely follow-up and delivery. The role also includes a smaller portion (about 10%) of Outside Sales activities involving visiting project sites, maintaining relationships, and generating new business. The candidate should have 1-2 years in a sales-driven environment, experience or familiarity with 2020 Design or ProKitchen software, and be comfortable with a rotating Saturday schedule. Strong interpersonal skills, a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs, and the ability to conduct cold calls are required; proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred. Additional preferred qualifications include bilingual Spanish capability, understanding of construction principles, and the ability to read blueprints and floor plans. The position offers pay in the range of $22-$25 per hour plus monthly commissions and includes working conditions across office and warehouse environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales-driven environment
- 1-2 years of experience with 2020 Design or ProKitchen software
- Ability and willingness to work a rotating schedule on Saturdays (2xs per month)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to respond to customer needs
- Ability to engage in cold calls as well as following up on warm leads
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred
- Understanding construction principles; ability to read blueprints and floor plans is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
