Job Summary

Inside Sales Representative combines customer service and technical/systems knowledge to sell products, services and solutions to new and existing customers through inbound/outbound multi-media communications. Builds and manages trusted relationships with assigned accounts, promotes options and solutions, identifies sales opportunities to increase market share and margin, and delivers revenue aligned with sales metrics. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, providing pricing/quotes, coordinating with internal resources (product, materials, field sales, suppliers), and ensuring customer requirements from initial contact to order fulfillment are met. The role requires teamwork, effective communication of product information, and occasional travel to customer sites or trainings. Requires basic knowledge of systems such as SAP/ERP, and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office. Beginning demonstrated knowledge of these systems and sales fundamentals is expected. Avnet emphasizes supporting customers and suppliers across the product lifecycle and maintaining a customer-focused approach to drive successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications
