Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative to drive adoption of ShipStation for e-commerce shipping processing and automation. Responsible for clear communication to prospective ShipStation users, assisting merchants through the trial process, showing ShipStation value, understanding business objectives, and turning trial users into subscribers. Converse with Sales, Marketing, Support; act as customer advocate for future product enhancements. Conduct high-volume outbound calls to interested merchants, become a product expert, and engage with entrepreneurs daily. Collaborate with peers and other departments to maintain a competitive advantage, keep detailed records of sales activities, and provide regular reports. Utilize CRM/automation tools to streamline processes and increase productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study a plus
- Minimum of 1-2 years of SaaS sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving sales goals
- Tenacity to make high volumes of calls to warm leads
- Excellent telephone and personal demeanor
- Strong ability to work cooperatively on a team with other sales representatives
- Effective listening and presentation skills
- Must have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Must be able to describe products and match their advantages to customer needs
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft (preferred)
- Industry experience in eCommerce, transportation and/or logistics (preferred)
- Working knowledge of G-suite (preferred)
