Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative in Addison, IL, responsible for preparing and following up on quotes and sales opportunities to secure orders, negotiating job pricing with vendors, sourcing products efficiently, and proactively soliciting new business from assigned accounts. Acts as a business partner with Field Account Managers to develop growth strategies for assigned accounts, coordinates with Customer Service to process orders accurately, supports other sales associates, and helps maintain knowledge of Sunrise Electric’s services and product offerings, including digital solutions. Maintains an electronic file system for customer-related information to quickly recall details needed to close orders, and contributes to pricing strategy and market understanding to maximize sales and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new technology
- Attention to detail with developed organizational skills
- Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
- Minimum 1 year at the Counter Sales or equivalent experience with electrical products
