Job Summary
Inside Sales Rep at United Rentals serves as a key branch customer contact and consultant, responsible for recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling equipment and services based on customer needs. Duties include processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts; establishing new rental and sales accounts via walk-ins and call-ins; negotiating prices per pricing policies; dispatching delivery trucks and managing delivery expectations; generating leads and communicating them to Outside Sales; warm-calling on lost/dormant accounts to retain business; maintaining a clean, stocked showroom; and performing other duties as needed. Requires strong relationship-building, multitasking, teamwork, excellent communication, and a valid driver’s license. A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
