Job Summary
Inside Sales Rep at United Rentals responsible for increasing branch revenue by renting and selling equipment, telemarketing, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include establishing rental and sales accounts, processing quotations, reservations, contracts and invoices, educating customers on equipment usage and safety, coordinating equipment pickups/returns, maintaining inventory records, and generating reports to monitor operations. Required to have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, strong customer service and sales skills, MS Office proficiency, effective communication, and an engineering aptitude to size and install large projects; a valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong customer service orientation and sales experience/skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Engineering aptitude: ability to size, quote, install and maintain large projects
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of company policies
