Job Summary
Support the branch in caring for customers by handling calls, answering questions, and assisting with order fulfillment, quotations, and project documentation. Prepare bids for projects, input orders to create delivery tickets, and follow up on bid statuses while maintaining literature and submittals. Resolve problem sales tickets, advise contractors on backorders, and provide basic product technical support. Maintain consistent outbound call schedules to obtain sales and occasionally pull customer orders from the warehouse. Travel for meetings and training as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to understand customer needs and meet those needs with a successful product sale
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Experience in developing rapport with customers
- Strong verbal and written communications
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections
- Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
- Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
- Basic mathematical skills
- Proficient understanding of units of measure
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be available for limited travel
