Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing the order lifecycle from quote through shipment and invoicing, and coordinating with Sales, Production, Shipping, and Finance to ensure accurate, timely execution. Responsibilities include maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow volume and margin, supporting profitable market share growth, forecasting and demand planning, and assisting with new customer development. Travel may be required to visit customers or other Nucor locations. A focus on safety policies and housekeeping is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-year Customer Service or Account Support experience
  • Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous inside sales or account management experience
  • Experience in cold finish, steel, or manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
