Job Summary
Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty while determining replacement HVAC/R parts based on inspection or verbal description. Understand and demonstrate products, research and source items using catalogs or web tools to meet customer needs, and enter sales orders into the computer system. Balance cash drawers, create credit invoices, process pick/pack orders, and handle customer returns and warranties. This fast-paced role requires excellent communication skills and time management to support the mission of making tech in the truck more efficient.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or a GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Detail Orientated
- Excellent time management skills
- General knowledge of inventory systems
- General knowledge of HVAC products, concepts, and industry as a whole
- Skill in using web-based tools to research product and information
- Standing and walking majority of the day
- Occasionally lifting, moving, carrying up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational School Degree/Certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 years of experience as a Sales and/or Service Associate in HVAC or similar industry
- knowledge of RF based systems
