Job Summary
Inside Sales Rep role with hourly + commission structure for a CVS Health/Aetna tele-sales position focused on acquiring and managing Medicare members. Responsibilities include acquiring new members via inbound/outbound calls, assessing customer needs, servicing inquiries, cross-selling ancillary products, retaining existing members, maintaining up-to-date product and regulatory knowledge (CMS states regulations, AHIP CE, product certifications), and achieving sales targets. Requires strong communication, CRM usage, multi-tasking, and the ability to rapidly build a book of business; minimum education is a 4-year degree or 1-2 years’ Medicare sales experience with a Health/Life license obtainable within 60 days. Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is supported; full-time schedule around 40 hours per week; compensation ranges from $15.00 to $24.23 per hour plus commission, with benefits eligibility and a broad onboarding/certification process.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years’ experience selling multiple Medicare products (i.e., Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement)
- Life & Health insurance license not required to be employed. It is required to obtain the license within 2 attempts and or 60 days from the employment start date
- Active use of computer for carrying out daily job activities
- Ability to multi-task while talking on the phone
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to control emotions when dealing with unhappy customers
- Adaptable to high pressure, achievement-oriented environment
- Drive to build, manage, and grow a book of business and become successful entrepreneur
- High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office package
