Job Summary
Reach out to potential customers to present electrical products and solutions via phone and email, responding to inquiries, providing quotes, and negotiating pricing. Extract critical information from technical drawings, schematics, and bills of material to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate product selections. Maintain and update the customer database in CRM software while processing orders, returns, and handling customer concerns professionally. Collaborate with the sales team to meet targets and serve as the primary liaison for assigned manufacturers, communicating new launches, pricing updates, and strategic initiatives. Monitor manufacturer performance and market positioning to coordinate training opportunities and promotional campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in inside sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of electrical products
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Technical aptitude for interpreting technical drawings
- Technical aptitude for interpreting schematics
- Technical aptitude for interpreting bills of material
- Analytical skills to extract and synthesize relevant information from complex technical documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
