Job Summary
Process customer orders via counter, phone, fax, and e-commerce, while locating parts and equipment from various sources. Support long-term business relationships to promote sales growth, assist with technical support and problem solving, and identify prospective customers for the sales team. Perform warehouse duties including pulling orders, restocking showroom shelves, conducting cycle counts, and making occasional deliveries using a site vehicle. Participate in after-hours on-call duties and training classes, and work overtime as assigned. Maintain a professional atmosphere and comply with all company policies. This role supports SRS Distribution, a leading roofing distributor, in delivering industry-leading building products and services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience
- Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
- Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy
- Meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle
- 5% travel to branches and other operating companies, requiring some overnight stay
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance

Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in the HVAC industry, preferred
- Forklift experience
