Job Summary
Inside Sales coordinates with Outside Sales to create accurate project quotes and handoffs to Project Management. Responsibilities include reviewing specs and one-line diagrams to prepare quotes, generating quotes in QuickPack, requesting quotes from vendors, sending quotes to customers, refreshing expired quotes, and supporting project setup with Sales/PM teams. Requires 3+ years in Customer Service, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Capital Equipment, and the ability to read technical specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM required; strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills. Education: minimum high school diploma/GED, with Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; based in Portland, OR with office collaboration expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED minimum; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of professional work experience (Customer Service, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Capital Equipment)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications and plans
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; experience with Kohler/QuickPack or similar portals preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication; excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; capable of working independently
- Based in Portland, OR office; team collaboration with Outside Sales and Project Management
