Job Summary
Determine customer requirements to recommend specific products, solutions, or services while introducing new offerings to existing accounts. Retain current clients by building rapport and providing unmatched service, then receive and process orders via our ERP system. Maintain transaction records for sales, cancellations, returns, and warranties while providing timely solutions to customer queries. Prepare quotations, manage pricing and margins with outside sales, and liaise with departments for order completion. Vigorously seek prospective new accounts, correspond via email and phone, and load rebates in the system. Work with vendors for pricing and availability, attend product training, and provide backup support as needed. Full-time on-site Monday-Friday; salary $18.00-$30.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Overall knowledge and understanding of Controls, VFDs, PLCs, and motors
- Must be able to handle a high call volume environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and reconciliation skills necessary
- Must be committed to learn our business and all the product lines and to keep up to date as well
- Ability to remain professional and focused with customers on the phone and successfully conclude the call despite any challenges presented by the customer
- Must be a Self-motivated and sales driven individual
- Experienced being responsible for maintaining and exceeding quota's/sales goals
- Must be able to learn our Windows based and our text command-based ERP System
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with our ERP System that is called Epicor Solar Eclipse is a big plus
