Job Summary
Consult with customers in person and over the phone to analyze current and future needs, determining the most appropriate level of service and sales. Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to articulate the company's competitive advantage while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Provide occasional order picking, warehouse duties, and deliveries to customer shops or jobsites as assigned. This full-time Monday through Friday role in North Cedar Rapids, IA requires overtime and includes passing pre-employment testing for drug, background, and driving records.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
- Successful customer service experience
- Great communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers both in person and over the phone
- Strong PC skills with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
Desired Qualifications
- Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred
