Job Summary
Monitor and respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries from platforms like Cvent, Hotel Planner, and brand e-leads. Qualify, evaluate, and convert leads into booked business while adhering to strict pricing and inventory strategies. Prepare customized proposals, quote rates, and apply yielding strategies to optimize profitability. Manage a high volume of concurrent leads across multiple brands, utilizing CRM tools and AI to track pipeline status and conversion performance. Build relationships with key stakeholders, planners, and intermediaries to maximize occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Execute strategic follow-up, maintain accurate data entry, and generate required reports to meet or exceed set goals. Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve property objectives while abiding by Prime Selling Time (PST) and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be skilled in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing (excel, word, powerpoint, brand sales systems, delphi, STS, etc.)
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Must be able to understand and evaluate information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Long hours are sometimes required
- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Must maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the portfolio
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
