Inside Sales - Inbound Member Engagement

Job Summary
Respond to member and non-member sales inquiries primarily via phone with a consultative sales approach. Provide in-depth knowledge of credit union products and services, assess consumer interactions to determine needs, and recommend financial solutions to meet objectives. Maintain high-volume, accurate, and professional member experiences while exemplifying Desert Financials’ Vision and Core Values. Demonstrate initiative, prioritization, and effective time management; stay current on processes, procedures, and regulatory guidelines; leverage CRM and Microsoft Office tools; and collaborate to achieve sales objectives. Responsibilities include handling member contacts with a focus on relationship building and ongoing follow-up across channels (phone, chat, digital) and staying proficient with products such as auto loans, home equity loans, mortgage, deposits, and checking accounts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a contact center, or Financial Service industry experience
- 1+ years experience meeting sales objectives within the financial services industry or other types of retail businesses
- 1+ years experience handling member contacts in a Desert Financial Credit Union Contact Center
- NMLS - Nationwide Multistate Licensing System required
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
