Job Summary
Read and decipher project specifications for polished concrete and epoxy flooring. Review plans and architectural drawings to prepare accurate take-offs for bidding projects. Interact with general contractors, architects, and the operations department to clarify project objectives and identify additional flooring opportunities. Assist in the preparation of bidding projects while communicating with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of specifications. This role supports Project Management in preparing new projects for our national flooring services. Candidates must have 1–2 years of construction estimating experience, proficiency in MS Excel and Autoquote, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction estimating or inside sales
- Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
- Analytical, problem solving and organizational/time management skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated
- Able to build and develop relationships
- Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Autoquote)
- Valid State driver's license (in good standing)
Desired Qualifications
- ideally within the flooring or commercial interiors sector
- Associate Degree or higher
- Desire to move into a future outside sales role within the company
