Inside Sales & Estimating Specialist - Hog and Poultry

Job Summary
Prepare accurate and timely estimates for swine and poultry facilities by interpreting building plans, layouts, and specifications to support project quoting. Assist dealers with material take-offs, develop pricing and scopes of work, and coordinate building orders, deliveries, and general customer service activities. Serve as the primary inside sales contact for assigned dealer accounts, developing strong relationships with EPS dealers, their crews, District Sales Managers, engineering, and production teams. Deliver exceptional customer service and timely responsiveness throughout the sales process while understanding and following all applicable corporate safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in the swine, poultry, agricultural, or post-frame construction industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of general construction practices, procedures, and applicable building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and perform material take-offs.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and estimating principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software.
- Associate degree from a technical school, a degree in Construction Management, or equivalent construction and/or estimating experience is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrates a collaborative, team-oriented approach across departments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and customer accounts.

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or related CAD drafting software is helpful but not required.
