Job Summary
Inside Sales Engineer responsibilities include preparing and submitting sales contracts, negotiating terms of sales or service agreements, answering questions about products/prices/availability/credit terms, quoting prices and bid specs, contacting customers to discuss how products meet needs, emphasizing product features based on customer analyses and technical capabilities, assisting in product selection based on needs and specifications, informing customers about delivery schedules and warranties, collaborating with in-house teams to engineer solutions for customer applications, advising on product usage to improve production, developing operational use of technical solutions, providing feedback to design teams for tailored products, obtaining detailed drawings/specifications for bids, and consulting with engineers on technical problems. Requires in-office schedule of 40 hours/week, occasional travel, passport, background check, and drug screening; BS in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience; bilingual Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience considered
- Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Background check and drug screening
- Occasional travel
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
