Job Summary
Prepare technical and commercial offers for cables, cable systems, and turnkey project inquiries by reviewing customer specifications and coordinating with engineering, planning, and production teams. Manage incoming RFQs, tender documentation, and competitive bid processes through SAP and internal systems while providing technical clarifications to customers and distributors. Support Regional Sales Managers with quotations, documentation, and follow-up actions to maintain an active pipeline across transmission, distribution, substation, and data center infrastructure projects. This role requires onsite presence in Baltimore, MD, with up to 10% travel, and reports to the Director of Business Development within Hellenic Cables' new U.S. manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales support, inside sales, or a related field within a technical, specification-driven industry
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical specifications, engineering drawings, and product documentation
- Commercial and product knowledge with the ability to translate technical requirements into competitive offers
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneously
- Critical and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities
- Business acumen and internal negotiation and coordination awareness
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with SAP, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage a high volume of customer inquiries while consistently meeting deadlines
- Resilience, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced, growing organization

- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- Up to 10% travel
