Job Summary
Monitor public and private sources for new project opportunities in data centers, advanced manufacturing, energy, utilities, semiconductors, infrastructure, aerospace & defense, and other capital-intensive sectors. Track project status, identify relevant updates, and maintain awareness of key milestones from site selection through operational ramp-up. Research and document project teams, build stakeholder maps, and support outreach preparation by gathering project context and contact details. Receive, organize, and review incoming bid opportunities, RFQs, and RFPs; conduct initial passes to determine completeness and coordinate with Business Development, Sales, and Estimating to ensure required information is captured. Support the development of bid presentations, proposal packages, and executive summaries by organizing capabilities, experience, and value propositions. Conduct vendor outreach, request pricing and capability data, and coordinate prequalification requirements and documentation submissions. Maintain accurate CRM records for projects, companies, contacts, and pursuit status; update opportunity stages, next steps, and estimated values. Use AI-enabled tools to support project tracking, research summaries, and customer-ready materials.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, business development support, estimating support, project coordination, construction administration, market research, or a related role
- Strong research skills with the ability to locate project information, identify stakeholders, and summarize findings clearly
- Comfortable using AI tools, CRM systems, construction databases, LinkedIn, company websites, public records, permit searches, and other digital research platforms
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, contacts, and bid opportunities at the same time
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear summaries, organized notes, professional emails, and customer-facing materials
- Ability to review bid packages and identify missing, unclear, or incomplete information
- Comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to keep information moving between Business Development, Sales, Estimating, and Operations
- Practical, resourceful, and curious, with a willingness to dig for information and find new ways to locate project stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to support commercial growth and improve customer output
