Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative at ION Solar engages with homeowners to qualify leads, understand needs, educate on solar benefits, and close sales. Responsibilities include outbound calls, following up on leads, creating and maintaining a customer database, presenting product features, staying informed on competing products, upselling, researching new leads, and achieving sales targets. Role operates in a full-time in-office setting in Orem, UT, with 6-8 hour shifts and a mix of schedules including Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays. Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $15 plus commissions, with an average total hourly range of $20-$26. Requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, multitasking, and a goal-oriented, commission-driven mindset. Health/Vision/Dental Insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in using computer applications
- Strong multitasking abilities, including navigating CRM systems
- Ability to thrive in a commission-based environment
- Phone-related service experience is a plus
