Job Summary
Inside Sales Representative for Berendsen Fluid Power in Harahan, LA. responsibilities include handling customer calls for quotes, pricing and expediting; timely entry of orders; understanding customer needs; resolving issues professionally; providing accurate price, delivery, and technical information; enforcing pricing policies; assisting Purchasing; communicating performance and market information internally; processing orders and scheduling changes; handling credit requests and rebates; maintaining inventory records and quality control. Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent and direct inside sales experience in a technical/industrial setting; computer literacy and data-entry ability; knowledge of pricing policies and basic accounting/supply chain familiarity is helpful; experience in fluid power is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Direct experience in inside sales in technical or industrial setting and products
- Computer literate with good data entry skills and ability to learn new programs quickly and efficiently
- Some accounting and supply chain familiarity is helpful
- Past experience in fluid power is a definite plus
