Job Summary
Inside Sales role focusing on customer engagement, product knowledge, and order management for electro-mechanical parts. Responsibilities include answering inquiries by phone/email/in person, assisting walk-in customers, recommending solutions, providing technical information, promoting and selling parts, processing sales with POS, managing quotations and orders in MotorBase/Springpoint, maintaining CRM records, coordinating material arrival, and supporting inventory and warehouse activities. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, with ability to read technical drawings and stay current on product features and industry trends. Office/shop-floor environment with some travel; 40-hour work week with potential overtime and rotating MOD schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of counter sales experience in an electro-mechanical or industrial environment preferred
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, VFDs, PLCs, and related electrical/mechanical components helpful
- Proficiency with POS and inventory software systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
