Inside Sales Associate

Job Summary
Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs while accurately entering sales orders, generating invoices, and processing payments. Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and availability, then evaluate warranty dispositions per manufacturer policy. Provide estimated delivery dates and pull, stage, and distribute customer orders using an RF scanner. Restock showroom merchandise and cross-train in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support branch operations. Work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment at POOLCORP, the world's leading distributor of outdoor living products.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to use basic computer systems
- Ability to use MS Office
- Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to use equipment such as a dolly
- Must be able to complete pre-employment drug testing
- Must be able to complete background verifications
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related inside sales experience
- Familiarity with pool supplies
- Familiarity with parts
- Familiarity with chemicals
- Familiarity with pool construction
- Familiarity with pool maintenance
