Job Summary
Assist walk-in and phone customers with product questions, orders, and service needs while accurately entering sales orders, generating invoices, and processing payments. Recommend products based on customer needs, evaluate warranty items, and provide estimated delivery dates. Pull, stage, and distribute customer orders using an RF scanner, then restock showroom merchandise to maintain product availability. Cross-train in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to support overall branch operations. Requires strong computer skills, physical ability to move up to 100 lbs, and a customer service attitude. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with $16-$22/hour plus bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers for most of the day
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to use basic computer systems
- Ability to use MS Office
- Ability to safely move products weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to use equipment such as a dolly
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related inside sales experience
- Familiarity with pool supplies
- Familiarity with parts
- Familiarity with chemicals
- Familiarity with pool construction
- Familiarity with pool maintenance
