Job Summary
Answer inbound customer phone calls, process orders received via phone, email, and walk-ins, and track shipment status to forward information to clients. Assist customers with warranty issues and freight claims, coordinate project deliveries, and support Account Management staff as needed. Input orders into Fishbowl, review and cleanup open orders weekly, process customer return credits, and prepare UPS shipments. Occasionally assist with order picking. This exempt position includes a commission on sales and requires high school education, strong communication skills, and experience in a high-volume business. HVAC knowledge and warehouse experience are plus factors.
Required Qualifications
- High School education
- Sales experience
- Strong communications skills for phones, email and in-person
- Experience working in a high-volume business
- Customer service experience
- Operate computer using Microsoft office software including Word & Excel
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheet
- Internet
- Order Processing
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Under 1/3 of the time, this employee will be Standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling
- Lifting more than 40 lbs
- 1/3-2/3 of the time, this employee will be Walking, reaching with hands and arms
- Over 2/3 of the time, this employee will be Sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, talking, hearing (listening)
- Under 1/3 of the time, this employee will be working near moving mechanical parts
- Working near fumes and/or airborne particles
