Job Summary
Inside Property Adjuster responsible for telephonically handling property claims within designated level of authority. Duties include contacting policyholders, conducting investigations, interviewing insureds and witnesses, inspecting damage as needed, preparing estimates, evaluating coverage, and determining payments. Role involves documenting claim files, identifying subrogation opportunities, interacting with agents and district sales managers, developing knowledge of estimating practices for property claims adjustment, and participating in Catastrophe Team training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous claims experience preferred
- Willingness to pursue and complete Technical Learning Center Training required
- Appropriate license as required by state
- Valid driver’s license preferred
