Job Summary
Provide superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone, helping customers determine correct parts, verify availability, and make recommendations. Determine parts and their availability, complete orders, and select supplying facilities and transportation modes. Enter shipping information into the ordering system to process orders and generate invoices, while handling backorders, returns, and exchanges. Assist with group sales, prepare quotes for service work and engines, and communicate with customers for follow-ups and issue resolution. Maintain a safe and productive workplace adhering to environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years in diesel engine, construction or agriculture equipment, or automotive parts or service
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year degree
- Up to 4 years of experience
- Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
- Basic computer skills (navigation, searching)
