Inside Parts Sales

Assist all retail and shop customers in selecting required parts, inform them of companion part requirements and specials, and answer phone calls for price quotes. Pull and fill orders from stock, replenish assigned inventory daily, and solicit assigned accounts by phone. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items, locate parts from outside sources for emergency orders, and follow up on back-ordered parts. Verify will-call and back-order files weekly, return items to vendors, and ensure all charge sales are signed and invoices are provided. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and issue credit for returned parts after verifying invoices. Maintain a professional appearance, keep counter areas clean, and participate in company training and lost sales tracking programs.
