Job Summary
Originate and process mortgage loans for leads generated by Marine Credit Union, primarily through Conventional Fixed Rate programs via Servion. Contact members promptly to ensure exceptional customer service, then determine eligibility for current offerings. Submit loan documentation to the Investor for approval and refer non-saleable products to qualified partners. Maintain working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, RESPA, TILA, and automated systems while adhering to all policies and regulations. Work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills to provide status updates to referring partners.
Required Qualifications
- Master knowledge of conventional fixed mortgage underwriting guidelines
- Master knowledge of RESPA and TILA
- Experienced with DU/DO and other automated underwriting systems
- Above average computer skills
- Must be detail oriented
