Job Summary
Conduct assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of valves, gearboxes, operators, trunks, and mechanical components. Perform fitting, scraping, grinding, honing, fastener installation, and torque operations. Execute precision measurement, hydrostatic and air testing, and complete hardcopy and electronic documentation using hand tools, portable power tools, and hydraulic equipment. Requires high school education or GED, 0-5 years assembly experience, and availability for all shifts. Hourly rates range from $24.28 to $30.13. Electric Boat offers pre-employment training and supports for those eager to learn the trade.
